President & CEO David W. Patti -- Mr. Patti leads PBC’s three components: the Policy Roundtable, PEG PAC, and PBC Education Foundation.  Mr. Patti brings to PBC 25 years of government, political and public affairs experience. Mr. Patti joined Pennsylvanians for Effective Government as its President and CEO in January of 2002 and served there through the formation of PBC in 2007.  Mr. Patti served in the Ridge Administration as the Chief Operating Officer of Team Pennsylvania and a Special Deputy Secretary in the Department of Community and Economic Development.  Mr. Patti was the first fulltime President and CEO of the Pennsylvania Chemical Industry Council – the state’s major trade association for chemical manufacturers – representing about 80 percent of the chemical industry’s presence in Pennsylvania.  He led PCIC from 1990 - 1999.  During that time, Mr. Patti also served on the American Chemistry Council’s Issue Management Team and was the first national chair of the Responsible Care® Partnership Council. Mr. Patti served previously in the Senate of Pennsylvania in two roles: as the Executive Director of the Local Government Committee and as a policy analyst for economic development.  In the mid-1980s, Mr. Patti served as the Communications Director of the Pennsylvania Republican State Committee.  From 2000- 2002 Mr. Patti worked as an executive in an internet software firm.

Mr. Patti is frequently contacted by national media including Congress Daily, Roll Call, Wall Street Journal, Christian Science Monitor, Associated Press and others.  He is a contributor to many academic and political writers. The Pennsylvania Report has consistently ranks Mr. Patti among the 100 most politically influential people in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Patti, earned a MS in Public Management & Public Policy Analysis from the Heinz College, Carnegie-Mellon University; and a BS in Political Science from Millersville University.  Mr. Patti completed the Yale University Corporate Environmental Leadership Seminar and the coursework required for a Ph.D. in Public Administration at the Pennsylvania State University.

Director of Administration and Membership Services Suzie Barbush – Ms. Barbush joined the Pennsylvania Business Roundtable in 1998.  Ms. Barbush is the primary point of contact for all member services and works to develop and implement new and better programs for the PBC membership.  Ms. Barbush is a native of Harrisburg, but pursued her career in Chicago, San Francisco, and Florida before returning home.

Political and Grassroots Director Eric R. Kratz -- Mr. Kratz joined PEG in March 2004 and takes primary responsibility for staffing the PEG PAC component of PBC.  He also is the Director of all PBC grassroots advocacy.  Mr. Kratz, with consultants and interns, researches candidate backgrounds and positions, writes PBC analysis and reports, and writes most of the articles published weekly in the pegALERT.  Mr. Kratz is the primary liaison between the PEG PAC and its endorsed candidates. He also uses new and traditional media to help firms communicate with the employees about public policy and politics.  Mr. Kratz manages PBC’s role as a state deployment partner in the national Prosperity Project initiative directed by BIPAC and NAM.  Mr. Kratz is a 2004 graduate of Lebanon Valley College with a BA in Political Science.  

Senior Issue Manager Anna Bassler McCauslin – Mrs. McCauslin joined PEG in 2007 as a Graduate Intern while completing her MPA at Shippensburg University from which she also holds a BA in Political Science.  Mrs. McCauslin researched and published the 2007 edition of the PEG PAC Trac – a compendium of data about Pennsylvania political action committees and their contributions.  In the fall of 2007, Mrs. McCauslin joined the newly formed Pennsylvania Business Council as a fulltime staff member.  She contributed to the 2008 Scorecard for Pennsylvania publication and coordinated the Pennsylvania Prosperity Project through the 2008 election campaign.  Mrs. McCauslin is currently beginning the 2009 edition of the PBC PAC Trac.   She is Senior Issue Manager with responsibility for  Infrastructure, Legal Reform, and Workforce Development research, issue management, and advocacy.  

Issue Manager Carl A. Marrara -- Mr. Marrara joined PBC fulltime in June of 2009 following graduation from Elizabethtown College.  He served as an intern with PBC from January thru May 2009.  Carl also worked as a PEG PAC Political Intern in the fall of 2006, assigned to the successful campaign of Mike Folmer for the Pennsylvania Senate.  Carl is an Issue Manager with responsibility for Energy, Environment, and Health Care research, issue management, and advocacy.  

Director of PBC Executive Leaders Program  Earl Baker -- Dr. Baker served in the Pennsylvania Senate for two terms, heading the Labor and Industry Committee. He then was Vice President for State Government Relations, Unisys Corporation. In his career, Earl has been: professor of political science at Temple University; three term Commissioner of Chester County;  state party chairman; and CEO of a nonprofit long term care organization. 

Public Policy Research Consultant Dr. Michael Greenberg --  Dr. Greenberg is an assistant professor of Political Science at Shippensburg University and part of the Center for Applied Research and Policy Analysis at the University.  He is also the founder and CEO of Greenberg Research Associates a firm that serves many Harrisburg trade associations, professional societies and non-profits.  Dr. Greenberg earned a PhD in political economy from the University of Texas.  As a statistical research consultant in the late 1980s and early 1990s, Dr. Greenberg introduced many clients to networked personal computers and emerging information technologies.  Dr. Greenberg and his students partner with the PBC Education Foundation in research efforts that provide content for PBC Education Foundation seminars and reports.

DBA & Statistical Analysis Consultant Kathleen Woolever -- Ms. Woolever is the owner and principal of Datalytics, Inc. a firm that provides technical consulting for data management and marketing operations. Services include data management solutions consulting, business process evaluation, staff training to use CRM software correctly, ongoing data management assistance, communications strategy, customer segmentation and analysis.  Prior to launching her firm, Ms. Woolever spent more than 10 years with the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry, serving as the Director of Database Marketing.  She began her career as a Database Marketing Analyst with AT&T.  Ms. Woolever earned an MS in Management from the Stevens Institute of Technology and a BA in Business Marketing Analysis from the Pennsylvania State University.

Writer/Consultant John L. Kennedy – Mr. Kennedy produces the PBC daily blog – a collection of news about Pennsylvania firms and government; and is the editor of two bi-monthly PBC eNewsletters -- insidePOLICY and keepingSCORE.  Mr. Kennedy has been a syndicated writer about business and political issues for 20 years.  He was previously employed by the Pennsylvania Manufacturers Association, PEG, and the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.  He is a graduate of St. Joseph's University, Philadelphia.

Broadcast & Electronic Media Consultant M. Darrell Williams has over 30 years experience in advocacy promotion, education, and media development.  His work experience includes broadcast and print journalism, management, marketing communication, and media.  His expertise in “mass communications” projects and advertising is well known in both political and commercial arenas.  He has written and produce many award winning commercials and projects including videos an advocacy projects the Smithsonian Institute’s Natural History Museum, the National Mining Association, Republican National Committee, and the Coalition for Affordable Reliable Energy.  International clients include the RUSSIA NOW party and the Christian Democrat Coalition in Russia.

Membership Development Consultant Matthew Curran -- Mr. Curran was a consultant to PEG prior to the merger and continues in his role, seeking members for the Pennsylvania Business Council and potential nominees for the CEO-driven Policy Roundtable. Matt spent more than 12 years as a very successful membership development and marketing professional with NC Free -- North Carolina's free market and business oriented political education association.  Matt recruited hundreds of members and led a $1 million capital campaign for NC Free. 

Financial Consultants Herbein + Company, Inc. -- The accounting firm of Herbein + Company, Inc. provides auditing, tax compliance and financial consulting services to PBC.

Information Technology Consultant Ed Duvall, MSCE CISSP -- Systems Engineer of McDonel Services located in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.
