    I enjoyed the book - and I appreciate the man. I do not admire the man, in fact I believe the reader will find hope and encouragement only through the lense of gulability. I encourage the readers of this book to read the Federalist Papers and the Anti-Federalist response…Sanders understands both views and used the emotion generated long ago into a ‘new revoolution’ (it is amusing).

    When reading Our Revolution one can’t help to wonder what the world would have been like had the DNC and the Clinton campaign not colluded to tip the scales against Sanders. Or had the media been more interested in discussing policy instead of non-stop Trumpland or if they had given equal media time to both Democratic candidates. As a Democrat, I sincerely hope our leadership reads this book and see how to inspire people of all ages. We need more people like Bernie in our government. People who stand up for the greater good and not for their own personal gain.

    The results of 2016 US Presidential Elections surprised journalists and pundits in the mainstream media, and it surprised US voters and people all over the world. What, if anything, could Hillary Clinton, the DNC and Democrats have done? Bernie Sanders' "Our Revolution" is his bold, progressive, passionate and utilitarian appeal to US voters. Written during his 2016 campaign, Bernie Sanders's book nicely lays out and discusses his progressive ideas for socio-economic, political reforms in the United States. With DNC SuperDelegate support, Hillary Clinton beat Bernie Sanders but adopted his popular ideas. If she had offered to make him VP to embrace progressives and attract independent voters disenchanted with Donald Trump, Democrats would certainly have won and a woman would now be President. Bernie might not have accepted Hillary's late offer to be her VP, but such a gesture by her would have been intelligent and strategically wise, since polls then showed that Bernie would do better than she running against Trump. Whether he liked it or not, Bernie would have made a capable Vice President. Had he politely declined her offer, her gesture would show good faith to progressives and independents. Hillary is hard-working, smart and intelligent. Yet despite the Clintons' experience, their many consultants and old friendships with journalists and media control, the strong DNC political power, Clinton Foundation support and money, somehow it seemed absolutely inconceivable that Democrats might really LOSE. Had Hillary sound common sense? Proud, privileged, collective egos converged. Within Clinton's camp, no contrarians spoke up nor dared to bet against them or hedge bets. Shouldn't Hillary, her staff, DNC, followers, mainstream media and journalists have considered that Democrats could NOT AFFORD to lose 2016 US elections? Bernie had screamed repeatedly that the poor and middle class already had been overwhelmed and subjugated by a few billionaire oligarchs. Followers of Hillary Clinton often shunned socialist rant and despised "silly Bernie Bro's," so they didn't pay serious attention to progressives and independents. After the 2016 election, they even blamed Bernie for Trump's victory, though most of Bernie's followers, including Bernie himself, accepted Hillary and voted for her. However, it's important to note that few independents and Republicans could ever accept Hillary, though many liked Bernie because of his integrity, working class jobs support and all his work on behalf of veterans' health care. In mid-November, 2016, the DNC is fractured, replete with those who either ignore real progressives or resent idealistic socio-economic, political ideals. If establishment DNC control is not eliminated, all progressives must try to build a New Progressive Party in 2018-20. Bernie Sanders suggests that we start a peaceful people's revolution in 2018-2020. We need campaign finance reform. We must reform the US electoral college system. Eliminate all DNC SuperDelegates. We must reform Wall St, sanction Big Banks. We must carefully clean and sustain our environment. US corporations must pay their fair share of US taxes. We must deal harshly with terrorism everywhere. We must control US immigration. We must fund our US military but foster real UN diplomacy. We must protect human rights and women's rights. We must develop universal, single-payer health care for all in USA. In 2020, let's elect a strong progressive female President.
